Hi, my name is Geordan Giblett, I'm the 2021 Head Boy.

I've been attending Papamoa College since the middle of year 8 after my family moved up from Wellington. It’s very exciting to see how much the school has grown in size and sense of community over the last few years. During my time here I have participated in a project-based learning class, productions, Science Fairs, Young Innovators Award, and school clubs such as the Big Brother and Big Sisters Clubs and the Enviro Club.

My goals for this year are to empower the younger students to step outside of their comfort zone and engage in wider school life as well as doing general good in the community, whether that be fundraising or helpful programs, such as implementing a food program for some of our students. I would also like to bring up the next generation of young leaders to be better than the last. I hope to implement real change into the school so students feel proud to go to Papamoa College. 

I know that our leadership teams will do the best for this school and help make it a better place.
