The Mana Waka Mufti Day held on Thursday 23 March was in support of the Pāpāmoa Surf Life Saving Club.

Thank you to everyone who donated, we raised a whooping $1932.10 for the Surf Lifesaving Club!

The club has a large active membership passionate about our beach community. Members include members of our Pāpāmoa College staff, our students and our wider school community. 

The dedicated (unpaid) lifeguards of Pāpāmoa SLSC devote close to 6000 volunteer hours each summer to ensure the safety of our community. 

Thousands of hours are spent training through the Surf Sports Programme developing lifeguards in an environment that is safe, fun, goal focused and disciplined, enabling our members to achieve their full potential. 

Pāpāmoa SLSC volunteers also provide an on-call 24/7 rescue service all year round and support local emergency services when necessary.
