Kia Ora, My name is Rebekah Thomas and I am a Guidance Counsellor here at Papamoa College.

I was born and raised in Tauranga Moana. I have been married to Matt for 22 years and we have four tamariki. I have both a Masters of Education and a Masters of Counselling.  Prior to having children, I worked as a secondary school art teacher in Aotearoa, Asia, and London.

My role at Papamoa College is to support students, families and staff with pastoral care and counselling. Through confidential conversations, we share knowledge and explore ideas to help identify problems and how these affect a person's life and relationships. I support students and their families to navigate their preferred way of life and the hopes they have for the future. 

I am available on Thursdays and Fridays.
