Rippa Rugby is back in Term 1 and Bay of Plenty Rugby Union needs referees for their Papamoa module. The Rippa Rugby season runs for six weeks in Term 1. The Papamoa module starts Friday 25 February and finishes Friday 1 April. 

For referees, a practical training session will be held in Papamoa at 4 pm Thursday 17 February 2022. On-field referee training will be provided and Rippa/Rip Rugby laws explained.

On game day:

All referees to meet at 3: 45pm to help set up the fields and help pack up; this will include sorting out the belts and Ripps at the end of the module.

All referees will be paid per module, and you are more than welcome to referee at more than one Module

• $20 per Module if refereed more than 1 game and helped set up and pack up
• $5 per Module if only refereeing 1 game per module.
