Kia ora koutou, I am the Tumuaki Tuarua / Deputy Principal responsible for the Senior School.

I work closely with the Senior Deans and our Pathways Team to ensure all tauira / students are known and provided with personalised authentic learning experiences which allow them to achieve their own unique version of academic and personal success. We aim to have all our tauira transition out of Pāpāmoa College with a meaningful pathway.

I also have particular responsibilities of oversight of teaching and learning in the areas of Mathematics, Science, Health & Physical Education and Pathways / Careers. I also lead the digital landscape within the kura.

I am passionate about learning design, curriculum development and connected learning that allows for tauira / students to develop the skills and capabilities necessary to gain agency, power and ownership in their learning journey.

Prior to Pāpāmoa College I was the Tumuaki Tuarua / Deputy Principal at Rototuna Senior High School for 3 years and spending 13 years at Te Puke High School prior to that. I am local to Pāpāmoa and am excited to be contributing to our local kura and community.
