Our LMS Speech Finals were held on Friday 1 September. We would like to congratulate our speech finalists for the high standard and quality of their speeches. Their speeches were very well-written and presented, the judges did not have an easy time deciding who our winners were.

The winners and our two students who went through to the WBOP Speech Finals were: Layla Clarke (Y8) and Sadie Willet (Y7). Layla's speech was entitled, "Lies", and Sadie's speech topic was "Why We Shouldn't Live On Mars". 

The runners-up on the day were Arianna Ehrler (Y7) whose speech was on 'Why Kindness is Important', and Charlie Given (Y8) who spoke very eloquently on grief.

The other finalists were Mackenzie Ward (Y7), Sophia Short (Y7), Jake Bailey (Y7), Chloe Turner (Y7), Lucas Cifuentes (Y7), Mia Withers (Y8), Bella Harley (Y8), Enzo de Guzman (Y8), Savannah Herbert (Y8), Ayana Burgess (Y8), and Eva Wilson (Y8). 

Thanks also to our two MCs on the day, Roman Parrott (Y7) and Mia Nalder (Y7).
