The LMS had their speech finals were held on Friday 16 September. It was a great success and the standard of speeches was very high

The results were:

• 1st Place Year 7: Layla Clarke 
• 2nd Place Year 7: Mia Withers

• 1st Place Year 8: Sian Liddle
• 2nd Place Year 8: Sophie Brown

Our other speech finalists were: Tom Clarke (Y7), Nikau Grant (Y7), Theo Manderson (Y7), Ayana Burgess (Y7), Georgia Goninon (Y7), Charlotte Given (Y7), Luke McNaughton (Y8), Marcail Begbie (Y8), Videl Harrison (Y8), Petra Blow (Y8) and Izzy Ihaia (Y8).

Our MCs on the day were year 8 students Camilla Du Toit and Biané Alberts from Tahuna Commons. They did a fantastic job. 

The WBOP speech finals will be held on Wednesday 21 September. We wish Layla and Sian all the very best of luck!
