On Wednesday 1 June eight of our Student Arts and Cultural Leaders visited 'The Bach' Daycare Centre to run Matariki celebration activities.

The student leaders planned and ran Matariki Activities for the tamariki which included; wishing on a star; poi making and skill learning, and; tī rākau. For the last activity, all of the leaders and tamariki came together to sing waiata. 

Our students were outstanding leaders and the tamariki absolutely loved the session.
