Last term, Pāpāmoa College hosted its first Mai Moana event, which was a part of the Mana Waka Competition. The event was a huge success, with students from all year levels participating in a range of exciting activities, including surfing, stand-up paddle boarding, surfcasting, and a competition to see who could do the best manu.

The event was a celebration of the ocean and its importance in the lives of people in the community. It was also an opportunity for students to showcase their skills and have some fun with their peers. The day was filled with great team spirit and culture, and everyone was excited to be a part of it.
