Research on the Dangers of Vaping

Papamoa College —

The One News Breakfast Team recently presented this informative article on the impacts of vaping and e-cigarettes in teens, and what's happening in school to educate youth about the potential dangers to their health.

Changes to The Smoke-free Environments and Regulated Products Act on 11 November 2020, saw the existing prohibition on smoking at schools extended to include vaping.

This means schools must be smoke-free and vape free, indoors and out, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Schools are also required to take all reasonably practicable steps to ensure that no person smokes or vapes in any part of their school, whether inside or outside, at any time of the day.
