Hi, my name is Grace Green and I'm the 2020 Head Girl. I've been attending Papamoa College since the beginning of year 10 and feel so thankful to be a part of a school that not only allows students to be their authentic selves but actively encourages it. I run the schools GSA (Gay Straight Alliance) and am heavily involved in the school's productions and dance opportunities. To me, nothing feels quite the same as losing yourself in movement and music!

My goals for 2020 are to promote and grow unity and wellbeing within our students; I strongly believe that school should be a place students want to be and a place where they feel welcome. To achieve my goals I would love to host our second ever Pride week as well as organise a Mental Health week and expand the available support resources within the school. I also want to ensure that we are rising up together as one, to reach our full potential. I hope that one day we will view each other's achievements with the same pride we view our own.
