I am excited about the opportunities and challenges as the Deputy Principal for Curriculum and Professional Learning at Pāpāmoa College.

I have enjoyed getting to know the students and staff at Pāpāmoa College over the last year and am impressed with the opportunities that are provided for ākonga within their learning, and also in terms of extra and co-curricular activities.

I am passionate about the place and culturally responsive approaches, active learning strategies, and integrated curriculum. I have a background in outdoor education and enjoy providing opportunities for ākonga to learn through, and about their significant place/s.

Previous to moving back to the Bay of Plenty, I spent five years at Nayland College where I was Deputy Principal leading curriculum and Pedagogy. Prior to my move to Nelson, I was Head of Physical Education and Health at Mount Maunganui College. I am loving being home living and working in my local community.
