This semester Zack Fitzgerald Y13 embarked on a Technology project to design and construct a mobile teaching surface for Maths.

He questioned teachers and students about their needs and wants then developed a creative solution to suit both. Zack constructed the frame and outer skin from scratch using both plywood and MDF reclaimed from the sunken Rena. Many hours were spent cutting, joining, skimming the surface, sign writing and painting. The mobile unit has both white and black board surfaces for both styles of learning.
