The Board is currently going through a process of appointing two new senior leaders - a Deputy Principal and Associate Principal which is a brand new position for Papamoa College.

Dave Ballard is retiring from education after a very successful teaching and leadership career. He was one of the foundation Deputy Principals in 2010 when the school began, and has been a real champion for students' being active and learning through a process of inquiry, and having more control of their own learning. He has made a significant contribution to the learning landscape at Papamoa College and his influence will no doubt continue to be experienced well into the future.

The Associate Principal is a new position that is possible due to the school's roll growth. Because the school is now large enough it attracts an additional staffing entitlement for a new senior leader, with this we will appoint an Associate Principal.
