Papamoa College has opted into the $150 Government Donations Scheme for 2020. While this is not really a donations scheme and more a government payment to the school, it will have implications for next year.

Some of our Year 10 students were given the exclusive opportunity of an awe-inspiring experience at the Tauranga Art Gallery. They met with the international and local artist 'Mr G' (Graham Hoete) at his first ever solo exhibition, titled 'Home.'

Congratulations to all students who participated in this year’s ICAS assessments for putting themselves forward to test their higher-order thinking and problem solving skills.

This year’s Market Evening was a great success, with over $2000 in sales on the night. There were some students who earnt almost $100 profit each, as well as groups who have learnt valuable experiences about planning and competition.

On Wednesday 20 November, 11 intrepid cyclists from Moana Learning Community, one teacher and four hardy fathers embarked on an adventure to bike the Hauraki Rail Trail from Waihi and through the Karangahake Gorge.

On Friday 1 November Papamoa College held its annual LMS Athletics day. A great day was had by all, with outstanding participation and positive attitudes from all students.
