Each year, our cleaning team celebrates a very special day – Thank Your Cleaner Day! This is a time when we recognise the hard work and dedication of our cleaners.

Established in New Zealand in 2015, this day is now celebrated worldwide, providing an opportunity to show appreciation for the essential work cleaners do behind the scenes to keep our environments clean, safe, hygienic, and welcoming.

At Papanui High School, we’re fortunate to have a dedicated team, with some members serving our school community for over a decade. Their commitment ensures that our classrooms, hallways, and shared spaces are always at their best, allowing students and staff to focus on learning in a clean and comfortable setting. On Wednesday, 16th October, we thanked them, alongside their management team, for their ongoing service and for being an integral part of our school community.
