New School Uniform

Robert Gilbert —

Frequently Asked Questions

When does the new uniform come into effect?

The new uniform will be compulsory for all Year 9 students starting in January 2026.

Do I need to buy the new uniform if I am in Years 10-12?

No, you do not. Students in Years 10-12 can continue to wear the current uniform until they grow out of it. This provides a flexible transition for our current students.

Will the new uniform be expensive?

We are pleased to announce that our new uniform supplier offers a more reliable supply of stock, and most uniform items will be more affordable than with our previous supplier.

What are the main changes to the uniform?

The new uniform is very similar to the old one. The most significant change is the replacement of the white polo shirt with a light-blue shirt or blouse.

What about Year 13 students?

Starting in January 2026, Year 13 students will have their own uniform. This will be the same as their current Year 12 uniform with a white shirt or blouse. They will also have the option of a blazer and a special Year 13 tie.

Are there any special privileges for Year 13 students?

Yes. Along with the new uniform, Year 13 students will be granted special privileges. These include access through the main administration building, a leave pass to the mall, and the option of non-uniform during Term 4 (excluding prize-givings).

Who is the new uniform supplier?

We are excited to announce that our new uniform supplier will be NZ Uniforms.
