E hika mā! Whiua tēnei karere ki te ao, whiua ki te rangi, whiua ki ngā iwi katoa!

Ōtautahi Tūhono Kapa Haka Festival will take place on Saturday, 13 September 2025, at the Christchurch Town Hall. This will be a full day of celebrating te ao haka, bringing together schools from across Ōtautahi to showcase their passion, pride, and talent on stage.

The day will feature four concerts:

• 9.00am – Ngahau (All ages, non-competitive)

• 11.30am – Year 3–6 Junior Competition

• 2.30pm – Tauihu (Year 9–13 Senior Competition)

• 5.30pm – Taurapa (Year 9–13 Senior Competition)

We are especially proud that Te Whatukura o Papanui will be performing in the Taurapa Senior Competition at 5.30pm. This is a wonderful opportunity to support our rōpū as they stand proudly alongside other kura in celebration of kapa haka excellence.
