SPACPAC Initiatives & 2025 Pacific Leadership and Pacific Youth Awards

Julia Walmsley —

At the 2025 SPACPAC Pacific Leadership and Pacific Youth Awards, held on the 17th of September, four outstanding students were recognised for their incredible leadership and dedication to supporting their peers, culture, and community.

This special event is part of the ongoing SPACPAC Initiatives, which celebrate young Pacific leaders making a positive impact in their schools and beyond. These students stood out for their commitment to cultural advocacy, helping their fellow students, and serving their communities. Their efforts have made their families, schools, and communities very proud. Through their leadership, they show strength, pride in their Pacific identity, and a strong sense of responsibility to others. The awards highlight how important it is to empower Pacific youth to lead with purpose and respect for their culture. These young leaders are great role models not just for their friends but also for future generations.

Congratulations to Anige Vaea, Tusi Tupu, Veronica Teofilo, and Olive Williams-Partington for embodying leadership with passion, bravery, and deep pride in their Pacific culture.
