Open Night, Thursday 29th May

Robert Gilbert —

Nau mai, Haere mai. Prospective students and their whānau are warmly invited to attend Papanui High School’s Open Night on Thursday 29th May, starting at 6.30pm in the School Hall.

The evening will begin with a welcome and address from Principal Robert Gilbert, alongside presentations from current student representatives, who will share their experiences and insights into life at Papanui High School. This is a valuable opportunity to hear first-hand about the school’s values, opportunities, and vision for student success.

Following the presentations, guests will be taken on a guided tour of the school, beginning at approximately 7.00pm. Our student leaders will guide small groups through classrooms, specialist facilities, and learning spaces. Along the way, each department will be showcasing both static and interactive displays, allowing visitors to experience the wide range of curriculum options and co-curricular activities available.

The evening will conclude around 8.30pm, giving plenty of time for families to explore the school environment, meet staff, and get a sense of what makes Papanui High School a place of excellence, opportunity, and belonging.

Whether your child is entering Year 9 or considering a transition later in their school journey, we encourage you to come along, ask questions, and see for yourself what we offer.

We look forward to welcoming you to Papanui High School.
