A silver lining for our senior teams.

Our senior girls' futsal team came up against St Andrew's College in the Christchurch Secondary School Championship. Finding themselves 2-0 down at halftime, the girls rallied and fought back to a 2-2 draw by the full-time whistle. In a dramatic penalty shootout, St Andrew's came away as victors. 

Heading to the National Secondary School Championships in Wellington, our girls finished top of their group. In the quarterfinals, the team were again cruelly defeated in a penalty shootout and in the end came away a creditable 6th in New Zealand. St Andrew's College went on to win the NZ Championship.

At the Canterbury Secondary School Volleyball Championship, our senior boys went through the group stage undefeated and comfortably won their quarter and semifinals. Playing for gold in their division, our team faced off against a very sharp Hornby High School team with our lads taking home silver.

We congratulate our teams and thank the teachers and parents who supported them through the highs and lows of the season.
