Staff Dragon Boat team.

Congratulations to the staff who represented Papanui High School in the Corporate Give it a Go Day dragon boating event on 23rd February at Lake Rua at the Roto Kohatu Reserve. Many of us were first-time paddlers, but with Sue McLachlan's expert coaching and leadership, we gave it our all.

Not only did we finish first in our heat, we also secured second place overall in the Educator category, proudly respresenting the only all-female crew.

The event was organised as a fund raiser for the Paddle for Life Sports Club, which is comprised of a breast cancer survivors dragon boat team 'Abreast of Life' and a sister supporting dragon boat team 'Amazon Hearts'.
