Kia ora koutou. Talofa. Kia Orana. Malo e lelei. Bula. Fakaalofa atu. Namaste and Kumusta. Warm greetings to our Papanui High School community.
This week, I want to highlight the incredible spirit and community at Papanui High School. Our Cultural Dress Day was a fantastic celebration of the diverse cultures that make up our school. It was heartwarming to see so many students and staff embracing and showcasing their heritage, creating a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere.
I would also like to express my gratitude to everyone who participated in the Hire-a-Helper auction, which raised an impressive $590 for Christchurch Charity Hospital. Your generosity and willingness to contribute are truly commendable.
A special mention goes to our remarkable students who performed at WORD - The Front Line, the high school spoken word poetry competition. Their performances were breathtaking, moving, and rich with emotion, leaving a lasting impact on the audience. Congratulations!
As we approach Winter Tournament Week, we extend our best wishes to all the coaches, managers and teams heading off to compete. I am excited to support as many teams as possible as I travel from Blenheim to Christchurch, Ashburton, Invercargill, and Oamaru, cheering on our students as they represent Papanui High School at the highest levels. Good luck to everyone involved – we’re so proud of you!
Hei whakakaha i te tinana, te hinengaro, me te wairua ki te whai i ō tātou moemoeā.
Strengthen the body, mind, and spirit to pursue our dreams.
