I am reaching out to request support raising funds for The Cancer Society.
Kia ora Papanui Community,
My name is Toby Mckee, as a member of the Papanui High School Service Council, I am reaching out to request support raising funds for The Cancer Society. We ask that if you're able you donate a prize or prizes to our upcoming quiz night. Info to come on how to sign up!
The Relay for Life is a volunteer-led experience that unites our whole community and further, celebrates cancer survivors, remembers loved ones lost to cancer, and raises funds to support those affected by cancer, a worthy cause if one was ever seen. The Papanui High School team has over 50 students and staff participating along with members of our community. Last year we raised $16, 000 and the quiz night was a big part of this. We will be walking and or running in the relay from 10 am to 10 pm on Saturday, April 5th at the Kaiapoi Rugby Football Club.
Our quiz night aims to raise funds for this event and we are seeking donations of prizes or vouchers from local businesses, such as yours. Your generous contribution will incentivise participation and be used as prizes at the quiz night, taking place on Tuesday, March 25.
Your donation will be acknowledged prominently at the quiz night and you will also be thanked in our school newsletter.
If you can contribute to prizes or vouchers for our quiz night, please let us know by March 10th. We would be happy to arrange for collection at your convenience. Please email Bex Roberts (Teacher in Charge) at rbr@papanui.school.nz or text 021 02375697 if you have any questions.
Thank you for considering our request; together we are making a difference in the lives of those affected by cancer.
Warmest regards
Toby McKee
