After 11 years of teaching at Papanui Primary Glen is leaving at the end of the year.

We have conflicting feelings about this ...

Happy for Glen because he is pursuing his passion for Play Based Learning at the special character school Seven Oaks.

Sad because we will miss his special character at Papanui.  

Glen has helped provide a wonderful start for the children beginning their schooling at Papanui Primary in the past few years.  The Pūkeko children have benefited from his kind and caring nature and his sense of fun.  

The Play based component that Glen helped introduce to school will continue to be a feature of the school as it provides an excellent transition and great way for children to develop their emotional and social competencies.

Over the years Glen has made a valuable contribution across the school including ... sport and P/E, Garden to Table and the Play Pod.  He has also taken a lot of photos for us and provided a bit of muscle when some heavy lifting is needed.

I am sure you will all join me in thanking Glen and wishing him all the best for his future.
