We have had some parents asking about why Papanui Primary doesn't go to Hagley sports, didn't have a netball team etc, and it turns out there's a whole Canterbury sports philosophy on it.

We have asked Matt from Sport Canterbury to come chat to us about this. It's changed heaps since we've been at school, and we can be on the pulse of what's happening sport wise. Hope this interests you, like it does me. Bring the toddlers along, all welcome and we'll put the Outdoorables out to play with. Cheers Anita.

P.S. Sorry I know a lot of people work school hours but last 7pm meeting we only had two attend. 

There's a 2-2.40pm Friends of Papanui meeting beforehand with the new Principal which would be great to have you at too (no worries if if not keen though!). Be great to have some newbies from Pūkeko come along, bring a mate, promise it's not too scary!
