The first game of this season was last night at Cowles Stadium. We played against Shirley and took the win.

After a very wet week last week the team were feeling a little under pressure with a lack of preparation. The team came together before school, morning tea time and again during the lunch play session to work on some skills and team work. This amazing group of Kāhu kids knew what they needed to do and showed all of our school values preparing themselves.

Mr Edlin and Mrs Smart are our coaching staff and were excited to see some great passing, shots at goal and looking for the passes from our team. Dante was the MVP for the game this week and looked for opportunities to pass and to be in the right place for a pass. A couple of our players missed their first game due to being sick and we look forward to seeing them ready for the next game.
