The Touch Rugby season starts back on Wednesday 8 February 2023.

Kia ora e te whānau, 

A notice will come home next Wednesday with all the details and a request for payment. The cost is $20 for the term. All games are played on Wednesday afternoons from 4pm at MacFarlane Park. All players from last term who would like to keep playing will automatically be placed in the same team. We would love to have you back! 

The success of the teams relies on our parent coaches so, if you are available to take on a coaching role or can continue coaching, we would love to have your support. You don't need to be an expert, or even to have coached before, your role will be in encouraging our tamariki and subbing the players on and off. 

Calling all Year 6 girls: we need you to join our all girl team (The Papanui Princesses). This is a really fun way of making new friends and enjoying a team sport. You don't need to have played before, many of our players are joining up for the first time. 

We do have spaces for new players in some of our other teams so if anyone is keen on taking up touch this term please contact Miranda Sheppard at: miranda.sheppard@pps.school.nz
