Congratulations to one of our talented artists

Paul Kingston —

Honor was a finalist in the Caxton Print design a penguin competition. She was one of 12 finalists out of over 200 entries. Honor was not only the designer and creator of her penguin (picture below) but she was also one of painters of the PPS penguin.

Pop Up Penguins was an art trail that included 50 large penguin sculptures, decorated by established and emerging artists, along with 65 little penguins, decorated by schools.

The penguins highlighted themes like climate change, community, Antarctica, creativity, innovation and exploration.

Now after nine weeks, out and about in Christchurch, the street sized penguins will be auctioned to raise money for Cholmondeley Children’s Centre. The 65 little penguins have been returned to their schools.   Our penguin - Atawhai - is safely back at school with its message of KINDNESS.
