Paul Kingston —

There are some maintenance tasks taking place now and a development on our eastern boundary taking place in the next few months.

Our main entrance is getting its first makeover in 12 years.  A re-plastering and paint as well as some new signage which will create a smart new entrance.

Over the next few days some troublesome sewer lines are being replaced.

There is a vacant lot on our eastern boundary (photo).  We have been informed that a warehouse will be constructed on this site. The 6m high wall of the building will effectively become our fence.

I have had an initial meeting with the contractors to discuss the timeline and more importantly the safety procedures during construction.  What the final product will look like has a couple of possibilities - replanting of trees or possibly a mural.

Fortunately there are no shading issues and the building will provide some shelter from the easterly winds so I see this as a positive development.

Finally an improvement you won't see. Yesterday our wireless network was completely updated. This will lead to much better connection for our devices.
