Dance @ PPS - Whānau performance

Jo Morris —

We are lucky to have Mark from Dance Curriculum back visiting us again this term. He does a fabulous job of creating a choreography and structure in a way that is simple and effective for everyone. This provides a wonderful learning experience for the children and gets every student engaged in their dance lessons. Next Friday, 5th May at 10.45am we will share our dance performances with our whānau and school community out on the courts. We hope you can pop in to share this great experience with us.

Learning in Dance supports ākonga to expand the ways they express ideas, feelings, values, and beliefs, as well as how they understand those of others. Ākonga develop literacy in dance as they learn about, and extend their skills in movement, performance, and choreography.
