The PPS Board of Trustees has an important announcement for the school community.

Kia ora koutou

After 45 years in education, 21 years of which have been dedicated to Papanui Primary School, our Principal Mr Paul Kingston will be stepping down from this position and retiring at the end of Term 1 2023.

Be reassured the board understands the importance of employing a new principal who will lead the school's continued development.  We will be using an external consultant to guide us through the employment process. 

Community consultation is an important part of the process - soon there will be an opportunity for staff, whānau and ākonga to share with us what qualities you would like to see in your next leader. 

We are grateful to have time on our side to find the right person to lead our school into the future.
