The Breakers may have been in town last night but the best game was at the Bishopdale YMCA where the Papanui Panthers had their last game for 2022.

It was a great game to watch with the game seesawing before ending in a 20 all draw.  Lucas got Player of the Day for positive sportsmanship towards the opposition and Kaden an award for showing bravery and commitment for the second week in a row - took a big tumble last night and last week he copped a stray elbow that resulted in a bit of blood.

Unfortunately Emma missed the game and the photo but she was a big part of a successful 6 weeks.

I hope they all sign up for Year 5 & 6 basketball in Terms 2 & 3 next year.  There will be a Year 3 & 4 team again in Terms 1 & 4 2023.
