This is a programme that fosters life-long, self-directed learning and is aimed at children 7 years and older. This clip explains in more detail how it works : Children's University
The total cost to families is $25 and this includes the children's Passports and the graduation ceremony at the end of the year. Those taking part will meet from time to time at school with Mrs Sheppard to share their progress and discoveries.
Have a chat with your child about whether they might be interested in participating in this programme. The organiser will be coming out to Papanui Primary on Tuesday 9 March at 12.30pm to talk to all the children interested about how to become involved. Consent forms will be handed out then with more information attached.
