Transition visits in weeks 8, 9 and 10
Your child/ren will be visiting their 2024 class 3 times over the next few weeks to get to know their new teacher(s) and become familiar with the space. In week 10 they will bring home a letter from the teachers, introducing themselves to you and also containing a class list. On Wednesday 13th December you are welcome to pop in at 3pm to meet your child/rens new teacher.

This week the Junior students had some active travel workshops where we learnt about some of the modes of transport and benefits of active travel. We discussed that both motorists and pedestrians have rules to follow. The tamariki learned about the concept of Stop, Look and Listen. The Christchurch City Council have offer to help us to set up a Walking School Bus which is an amazing opportunity for our whānau to share the load of getting our tamariki to school in a safe and healthy way.

Our kapa haka performed at the Kāhui Ako cultural festival at Casebrook Intermediate on Thursday evening. It was a fantastic family event and our kapa were fabulous. They performed with pride and passion and made us all very proud!!
