Just a couple of updates from me this week. I am looking forward to next week and our Matariki Celebration of Learning, and our first Matariki public holiday. All of my mokopuna - grandchildren will be here in Christchurch so it'll be nice to spend that whānau time together.

The election date has been set for 7 September 2022. Being a Trustee is a great example of how everyday Kiwis contribute positively to their community - this helps create a healthy and caring society.

Part of being a teacher is undertaking Professional Learning. This takes many forms.

Next Tuesday, 21st June we will be holding our Matariki event from 4.30-6.30pm. This is a chance for you to come and be involved in the school community and for our tamariki to share their term's learning with you. Our Kapa Haka are excited to have the chance to perform for the first time this year. Each teaching pod has been focusing on different elements of tūrangawaewae and learning about Matariki. Below is a snapshot from each pod and some details for you to read about the evening.
