Partners in Learning: helping your child to do well at school
You know your child better than anyone, including their strengths and weaknesses, their interests and talents, and what works for them. You are the most important out-of-school influence on your child’s educational success.
Our reporting process aims to connect the key partners in learning - the learner - the parent(s) - the teacher.
Meet the Teacher
These interviews were held this week and we had a great response from whānau. Research shows that teachers knowing and understanding each child and their family is vital for that child’s learning and wellbeing. Thank you for taking the time to complete the 'Getting to Know' you forms as this helps teachers to better support your child's learning. If you were unable to attend these interviews please contact your child's teacher to arrange a time that suits.
Mid year Interim Report - 3 & 4 August 2-7pm
The child, parent and teacher get together and teachers will give an indication of how children are progressing towards their end of year achievement.
End of year Final
A summary report is written and sent home in early December
You are able to discuss your child’s progress or achievement with the teachers outside of these times. We ask that you make an appointment by emailing the teacher.
