At Pārāwai School we really believe in doing everything we can to make the learning that happens exciting and rich for all of our tamariki. To this end, we have been working to make our camps an extension of our exciting curriculum and something that they can all remember for some time. 

For this year our Year 7 & 8's will have two separate camp experiences and the details are as follows. 

In Term 3 (28/29 September) we will be going to Auckland for two days (1 night). The basic itinerary for this is that students will go to Snow Planet (Skiing), stay overnight at Kelly Tarltons, and then visit the Museum the next day. 

In Term 4 (16-18 November) we will be going to Totara Springs Camp like last year with a different set of activities. Our students loved their time last year and it was a great camp with a great range of activities. 

Because of the added activities with these two separate camps, the total cost to parents will be $185. This can be paid off over the time before the camps. Please let us know if you would like to do this. A Hero notice will be coming to confirm your child will be coming and we do require a $30 deposit to be made prior to the end of this term. Parent helper information will come out with this as well. 

The Year 5/6 Camp will be from the 7-9 of November at Epworth Camp in Cambridge. There will be a range of Waikato-based activities. More information will come out about this camp over the next couple of weeks.
