I am excited to announce our upcoming School Holiday Art Program at the Creativity Room, designed to spark imagination and creativity in kids aged 5 to 15! This time, we've curated a series of fun and engaging workshops that explore different art forms and techniques, perfect for young artists eager to learn and create.

Here’s what’s in store for your little artists:

Tuesday, October 1st: Sip and Paint for Kids
We’ll be painting animal portraits in acrylics on canvas, with refreshing juices to sip while they create. Kids will learn colour mixing, composition, and layering techniques to bring their animal masterpieces to life!

Wednesday, October 2nd: Deep-Sea Watercolour Wonders
Dive deep into the world of watercolours! We’ll use drawing gum and richly colored layers to create glowing effects. Kids will learn about colour value and the magic of contrast to make their underwater scenes pop!

Thursday, October 3rd: Upcycled Art Adventures (Free Workshop)
Thanks to the generous support of the Seagull Centre in Thames, we’re hosting a special upcycling workshop. Kids will transform everyday packaging into art using hot glue guns, drills, and more—creating unique pieces from what others might see as rubbish!

Tuesday, October 8th: Papier-Mâché Mask Making
Kids can reinvent themselves with a papier-mâché mask workshop. From basic forms to elaborate creations with beads, fabrics, and feathers, they will learn how to build and personalise their very own mask!

Wednesday, October 9th: Charcoal Dragon Drawings
Let’s unleash some dragons! Working on large-format tinted paper, kids will learn to use black and white charcoal to create striking dragon illustrations, adding pastel for that extra burst of colour.

Thursday, October 10th: Supersized Bug Sculptures
Our final workshop brings imagination to life with clay and wire. Kids will sculpt supersized bugs, using thin wires to create dynamic wings and structures, and paint them in vivid colours to finish.
