Kia Ora koutou and Konnichiwa. I’m Emi. I started at Pareawa Banks Avenue School (PBAS) as an Office Administrator in 2021.

At the beginning of 2024 I became a Learning Assistant. I work Monday-Thursdays as an LA and Fridays in the office.

I was born in Japan (My Dad is Japanese and my Mum is a New Zealander ). I have lived in Christchurch most of my life.

 I feel very fortunate to have enjoyed a multicultural upbringing, being a Japanese New Zealander with my Iwi being Ngai Tahu. I am always interested in learning about art and culture. I also love to cook. 

When I’m not at work I enjoy spending time with my  gorgeous children, Amelie (13yrs)  and Jonte (11yrs). 

Wherever we are as a family you’ll also find 'Nigel' our Miniature Schnauzer trotting alongside us. He suffers from FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out).
