Kereru's Scientific Reports - The Water Cycle

Lilyrose Gloistein —

This week the Kereru Team have been doing an experiment about The Water Cycle.

Here are some words from some students:

This week in the Kereru team, we have been doing an experiment about The Water Cycle. The three key words in the water cycle we learnt about are evaporation, condensation and precipitation.

Our materials we needed are a clear zip lock bag, blue food coloring, one vivid and 2 cm of water from the tap. For the drawing bit you need to draw a sun in the top left corner, now draw a cloud with rain drops in the top right corner and now draw an ocean at the bottom of the bag. Next find a spot on a window that is sunny and sellotape the bag to the window.

That was our experiment in the Kereru team this week. Check out our photos, or come and see them in action on our windows.
