The year 8 Cowles Basketball team won the Zones tournament, so got to compete in the Canterbury tournament on Monday at Pioneer Stadium.

There were 16 boys teams from all across Canterbury in the tournament and we played the following teams - St Francis, Middleton, Merrin, Rolleston and Wharenui.  It was a round robin comp with 5 points for a win, 2 for a draw and 1 for a loss.  All games were extremely close in points and we finished 14th overall.  Not bad at all, being the first time making Canterbury for Basketball.  Well done boys, I am so proud of all your hard work! Bring on Term 3 at Cowles! 🏀🏀
