Team 3 have been working on some amazing things! Team 3 have been growing bacteria! Information has been supplied from Rooms 17 & 18.

Team 3 decided to start growing bacteria, to help them when writing a scientific report.  Team 3 worked in pairs, they got a dish between a pair, and were given two cotton buds. 

The pairs then got to swab the area of their choice, then the pairs swabbed the cotton buds onto the agar (agar is food for the bacteria).  The pairs had to split the dish into four. One section for control, bacteria with no cleaning product.  Another section for water, a corner for spray and wipe, and the last corner for lemon juice.

The pairs did control and got a spray bottle, some of the areas they swabbed were bathroom floors, their desktops and door handles. What a cool project!
