Scooter Competition Amazes Its Judges 🛴

Alexander Negus —

On Thursday 1st of March at morning tea and lunchtime there was a large team of students who hosted a scooter competition for the year 5–8’s.

At morning tea it was chaos but it only got better and everyone was having fun during their turns to sign up and be in the competition for lunch and then when it came to the end of morning tea and everyone left feeling satisfied and eager for lunch.  At lunch time It was more organised and people are actually following the rules that to organizers had ask them to follow. Hopefully this will go well because this event was organised by Manaaki and Scout.

There was an amazing turn out of approximately 20 kids all ready and eager ready to have fun trying to do their best for a shot at winning the competition. For the competition they are using the school ramps which the school brought last year and from then they have been heavily used. Basically every day the ramps are out with people doing tricks on them and they are Evan doing trick on the little porch outside room 9 a training for the competition.

That must mean lots of people wanted to try their hardest for the chance to win. The competition was super exciting to watch as there were so many good tricks and scooterers alone. The scooter competition was rough and it was a great battle and final they had a final result and without further a due here are the winners.

  • 1st place: Tyrone S 🥇
  • 2nd place: Lucas W 🥈
  • 3rd place: Marshall C 🥉

So congratulations to our winner and thanks to all the competitors come to compete.
