Kent McDonald —

To accompany the mid-year report, students will also receive a Values Report outlining progress against the School Values. Students are assessed against differentiated statements with expectations being age appropriate. Values Reports will be sent out each term.

We Belong - MANAAKITANGA

We believe in the well-being of all students in safe, nurturing, culturally responsive environments. We value caring nurturing classrooms with whanau groups and culturally respectful relationships

Our Relationships - WHANAUNGATANGA

We believe in family-like, respectful relationships where we understand rights and responsibilities and have shared experiences. We value older teaching younger (tuakana teina relationships), knowing our learners' personal interests, home life and culture.

We Learn Together - AKO

We believe in learning from each other and that learning is interactive and connected to the world around us. We value student voice and student leadership for all, whole school events, trips and outdoor experiences.

We Collaborate - MAHI TAHI

We believe in working collaboratively together for a specific goal and being good self-managers. We value our learners being self-regulators and opportunities to work together, also a variety of learning tasks and opportunities for hands-on learning.
