Room 6 writing class has worked on some really cool descriptions of autumn trees!

They have been focusing on using different writing features that bring their descriptions to life! Here are some great examples - 

Autumn Trees-

As the majestic, magical leaves flutter down to the ground, I catch them in my hand. They feel smooth and hard. When I scrunch one up it's crackly and crunchy. The leaves look like a bunch of fire.

I woke up and a beautiful tree in its autumn suit was outside my window. It was as beautiful as an elegant, fragile poppy. The tree was like fire in front of my face burning with leaves. Glittery golden leaves fell from every branch. I went outside and stood on the leaves. Crunch, crackle, crunch!
