The Adventure That Went OK!

Ella Hurst-Whitworth —

Throughout the last few weeks Jessie (from the Kotuku Team writing class) made a very cool story for the newsletter, during free writing. She has done very well in using her imagination and just overall making this story - I hope you enjoy Jessie's story:

The Adventure That Went OK!

It was a beautiful day in Christchurch, the Jones family were waiting for their plane to come. They unfortunately had 29 hours to pass. So the Jones family went to the Jungle...

“We are lost!” moaned the kids.

“NO WE AREN'T!!” yelled the dad in rage.

“How long is it going to be till we get back?” complained mum to dad.

“About 29 hours.”

29 hours later

“ We are lost and we've missed our flight!” Yelled dad.

96 hours later

“Do I hear sirens?” asked the kids.

32 hours later

“We are on the flight home.” said the Jones family.

"We should of waited for 29 hours at the airport!" sighed dad.

“I agree!” said mum.

“YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!! We're home!” screamed the kids.

“We can play with whatever we want!” the kids exclaimed.

"Do you have the keys?...” said dad. “No!" moaned mum.

The whole family is back on the dreadful airplane and will be back home in 34 hours.

34 hours later

"We are home! (AGAIN!)” said the kids.

“Time to get the keys (THAT WE ACTUALLY HAVE THIS TIME!)” said dad.

“Hey mum do you have the keys?” exclaimed dad in confusion.

“I don't have the keys” said mum

The family are on the plane!

20 hours later they got the keys and went home (AGAIN)!

“Time for bed” said dad

“Yes” the kids exclaimed in a very sleepy voice.

“WAKE UP WAKE UP!!"  yelled dad and mum.

“We're up OK!” yelled the kids.

The kids finally got up and got change into school uniform and made some delightful food! “OK! This is a first.” said the parents.

“Let’s hope into the car and head to school!" exclaimed mum and dad.

“OK” said the kids.

Something went poof and nothing was the same anymore...
