What an amazing way to kick off our Samoan Language Week next week! The seniors have been awesome these past few weeks learning about the Samoan culture.

Malo lava and a massive well done to our Kereru and Kotuku teams for putting in the effort these past few weeks with our Ahurea Oa Samoan Lessons! It's never easy learning a new language you're not familiar with, but they did amazing! You guys rock! 

This term, we took a step back from learning the art of Samoan traditional dance and instead we focused on the Samoan language itself. We learnt the Samoan alphabet, some Samoan words and even how to say "Have a good day" in the language.
