What a fun and busy end of the term we have had! Yesterday the tamariki and staff looked amazing in their 80’s attire. We all enjoyed our 80’s inspired retro aerobics session to end a great day!

The Piwakawaka team had fun at Kelly Sports on Wednesday - I loved watching their progress in a short time - awesome teamwork!

Teamwork has also been a theme for the Pukeko team this week as they worked together, battling the elements, to construct emergency shelters as part of their Arctic studies. Fiath and Bertie even created their own sturdy shelter at lunchtime!

I also spotted some star workers this week with Ayden sharing his amazing animal research poster, Room 4 completing cool Arctic themed playdough challenges, and Room 7 star readers sharing their Little Red Riding Hood stories.

With Super heroes, Arctic heroes and sports heroes on show it has been a great couple of weeks!
