On the 25th June, a boys and girls Year 7/8 team went to the Celebration Stadium to play in the zones basketball tournament.

Parkview Parua school took two teams to Celebration. There was one girls team and one boys team. 

In the girls team there is:

Caylah, Kayla, Tessa, Perez, Jacinta, Emily, Freya and Rongo.

The girls played four games and got into the finals against Marshlands.  It was a good game but Marshlands ended up winning by two points! Luckily the top two  go to Canterbury's, so the girls get to go!

In the boys team there is:

JP, Tai, Finau, James, Braydon, Hamiora, Jackson, Tarquin and Alex.

The boys played five games and ended up coming 3rd, just missing out on the finals.
